Valentine's Day reached its height of popularity during the romantic Victorian age.
Why this lady is dressed up in Native American garb is unclear. Or maybe the Victorian idea (this image is from a Victorian postcard) was that Valentine's Day had penetrated to Native American culture. The Victorians did love to dress up in exotic costumes, so maybe that was part of the idea behind this image.
Our prints are made at our location in Seattle, WA. They have a thick, white backing board and are sealed in clear bags. Each is suitable for framing or can be used as is for wall display.
