We're crossing our fingers that the rain won't delay this Easter rabbit's delivery schedule for too long! Painted by Hazel Frazee, this charming illustration graced the cover of the April 1930 issue of Child Life magazine, with the tagline "The Children's Own Magazine."

Hazel Frazee (1899-1972) was a talented artist hailing from Chicago. Although details about her personal life are elusive, her legacy endures through a wealth of illustrations characterized by a gentle depiction of (human) family life and endearing animal scenes. Her captivating artwork graced the pages of numerous children's books and magazine covers of her era, many of which were dedicated to young readers.
