OUTSIDE GREETING: "However dark or long the night is, right where you are, that's where the light is," - Jade Castrinos
BLANK INSIDE
Elegantly draped across the moon, this ethereal lady was created for a 1920s advertisement promoting Gustaf Tenggren's Blue Moon Silk Stockings. Paired seamlessly with a quote from Fiya Wata, a song by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, this design embodies the perfect fusion of vintage allure and contemporary flair, a hallmark of its talented designer, Hooligan Ruth. The blank interior of this greeting card makes it a versatile choice for many occasions.
Hooligan Ruth is the nom de plume/design studio for contemporary artist Danielle Marshall. She's a longtime friend of the Laughing Elephant family who shares our passion for vintage illustration! We started working with her in 2016, producing 8 of her cards, and now sell 40 (and counting!) cards featuring her unique collage work with vintage elements.
This item was printed and hand-assembled at our Seattle location.
