Louise Clasper Rumely (1893–1979) is remembered for her charming baby paper dolls created during the early 1960s. Additionally, she left an indelible mark on the advertising world through her delightful cherub-filled illustrations featured in Swan Soap ads during the 1940s and 1950s. Her talent extended beyond her creative endeavors, as she inspired and nurtured artistic skills in the next generation, including her daughter, Janet Susan Rumely, whose illustrations have also found their place in our illustration archives!
