The design of this vintage notebook is taken from the cover of Fairy Tales From The Arabian Nights, illustrated by John D. Batten — the illustrator of a number of the famous Colored Fairy Books. He was a superb designer as well as an artist, and the design on this cover is probably his. This book was published in 1893 by J.M. Dent & Co., London.
