Hazel Frazee (1899-1972) was a talented artist from Chicago. Although details about her personal life are elusive, her legacy endures through a wealth of illustrations characterized by a gentle depiction of (human) family life and endearing animal scenes. Her captivating artwork graced the pages of numerous children's books and magazine covers of her era, many of which were dedicated to young readers.
