OUTSIDE GREETING: Happy Holidays, Let It Snow!

Witness sledding in its most elegant form with Erté's creation titled Sports d’Hiver. This winter tableau, originally gracing the cover of Harper's Bazaar in February 1933, captivates with its precise shapes, vibrant hues, and meticulous snowflake details (each one individually drawn!). Perfect for a holiday card or any winter-related occasion, it embodies the season's essence in both style and spirit.

Erté (1892-1990), whose birth name was Romain de Tirtoff, was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. After collaborating with the renowned Paul "Le Magnifique" Poiret on various theatrical productions, Erté ventured into independent work. He crafted stunning costume and fashion designs for the most celebrated actresses of his time, like Joan Crawford, Lillian Gish, and Norma Shearer, to name a few. His breathtaking stage designs graced iconic venues such as New York's Radio City Music Hall and the Paris Opera. His artistic design work in fashion, jewelry, graphic arts, costume, and set design for film, theatre, opera, and interior decor rightfully earned him the title "The Father of the Art Deco Movement."

This product was custom designed and created at our location in Seattle.
