Description

This enchanting little witch is undeniably one of the cutest in our Halloween Collection. She was lovingly illustrated by Vernon Grant for the November 1933 cover of Ladies' Home Journal. What truly captivates us is the exquisite depiction of shadows cast by the gentle glow of the jack-o-lantern, adding an extra layer of charm to this delightful Halloween scene.

Vernon Simeon Plemion Grant (1902-1990) was an American artist renowned for his significant contributions to illustration and commercial art. He achieved widespread recognition as the creator of Kellogg's Rice Krispies mascots Snap, Crackle, and Pop, leaving an indelible mark on American pop culture. Grant's artistic talents extended beyond advertising, encompassing various subjects and styles, from holiday-themed illustrations to whimsical characters. In fact, in 1938, Life magazine ranked Grant as "America's favorite children's artist."

Our prints are suitable for framing or can be used as is for wall display.
