Charles Robinson (1870-1937) was a celebrated English illustrator who made an indelible mark on the Golden Age of Illustration. Hailing from a family of illustrators, Robinson established himself with a distinctive and whimsical style, characterizing his work with decorative elements, unique coloring, and fantastical themes. His talent graced the pages of numerous cherished children's books, including classics like Robert Louis Stevenson's A Child's Garden of Verses (1895), Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1907), Grimm's Fairy Tales (1910), and Frances Hodgson Burnett's The Secret Garden (1911). His delicate use of light, intricate detailing, and vivid imagination transformed these tales into enduring visual masterpieces!
