John R. Neill (1877-1943) was an American illustrator who was celebrated for his significant contributions to children's literature. Born in Philadelphia, Neill's artistic journey led him to become one of the most iconic illustrators of the early 20th century! He is best known for his captivating illustrations in the Oz series by L. Frank Baum, a collaboration spanned numerous books.
