Ellen Clapsaddle (1865-1934) was a renowned American artist whose work greatly impacted vintage postcard illustration. With over 3,000 designs, she was pivotal during the Golden Age of Postcards (1890s-WWI), when millions of postcards were printed and mailed. Her art often featured children, floral arrangements, and holiday themes. Clapsaddle's influence also reached U.S. postage stamps, cementing her legacy in postcard illustration.
