INSIDE GREETING: Wishing you lots of Treats this Christmas!

These children are meticulously crafting a delightful snack for Santa Claus on the most magical night of the year. Originally painted by the renowned artist Revere F. Wistehoff and aptly named Merry Christmas Santy, the same words the young boy scribbles in his note, this card carries a timeless charm that ensures a joyous and unforgettable Christmas morning for all who receive it!

Revere F. Wistehuff (1900-1971) is prominent in American commercial art history, celebrated for his captivating domestic figure and genre illustrations. His art often captured the enchantment of children at play and celebrated patriotic themes, reflecting the core of American life and values during the era, usually seen on magazine covers. As a central figure in the New Rochelle Art Colony during the 1920s, '30s, and '40s, affectionately known as "Wistey" to friends, he stood shoulder to shoulder with renowned cover artists like J.C. Leyendecker, Norman Rockwell, and Walter Beach Humphrey. His work graced the covers of numerous national magazines and found its way into the advertising art of major brands of the time. Wistehuff's unwavering commitment to family-oriented subject matter endeared him to both the industry and the public, making him a beloved artist of his generation.
