Antique Halloween postcards often showcase the expected motifs like jack-o'-lanterns, witches, and black cats, but the most intriguing ones, in our humble opinion, are those that defy logic! For instance, this whimsical postcard from 1908 was created by an unknown artist and possibly originated in Germany. It features a delightful scene of a pumpkin merrily driving a watermelon-squash car (with lemon wheels), accompanied by a crew of spooky friends. Because... why not??
